The Aquatec Maxcon AquaThickener is a cost-effective gravity sludge thickening solution designed for continuous, reliable operation in municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment applications. Engineered for simplicity and durability, the AquaThickener operates 24 hours a day with minimal operator attention, providing an efficient alternative to more complex mechanical thickening systems.

Key Features

The AquaBlade is Australia’s only designed and engineered fine bubble diffuser. The Patented Aquablade design has been developed to offer optimal aeration performance and operation through decades of experience & testing. Aquatec Maxcon’s experience in diffuser design began in the 90’s installing 1000’s of imported diffusers including ceramics, EPDM Disks or Tubes. Aquatec Maxcon engineers identified vast improvements could be made to the commonly available imported diffusers and went about designing the Aquablade Strip diffuser. Through extensive R&D utilising the only dedicated testing facility in Australia. The Aquablade range of diffusers has been designed and tested to offer the highest oxygen transfer efficiency and the lowest energy consumption per installation.

Features of the Aquablade include:

The Aquablade range of fine bubble diffusers utilises a proven and robust design coupled with a highly efficient proprietary membrane. Offering installation and operational flexibility and local design and spare parts support Aquablades are the trusted high efficiency diffuser solution trusted by hundreds of treatment plants across South East Asia

Aquatec Maxcon are the Australian and New Zealand licensees for Haskoning’s Nereda® Aerobic Granular Biomass technology.

Nereda® is a biological wastewater treatment process that utilises compact aerobic granular sludge (AGS) to efficiently treat wastewater with superb settling properties. Within the granules aerobic and anoxic/anaerobic zones co-exist, so that multiple biological processes, including carbon removal, nitrification, denitrification and biological phosphorus removal all occur within the granule. The Nereda® process happens in three stages; Simultaneous Fill and Draw, Aeration, and Fast Settling.

The advantages of the Nereda® process are:

UV disinfection is a critical component of modern wastewater treatment, and selecting the right system is essential to ensure compliance and long-term reliability. Trojan UV systems are globally recognised for delivering reliable and validated wastewater disinfection. Across Australia & New Zealand, many municipal and industrial plants rely on Trojan UV to meet discharge compliance and environmental standards.

Trojan Technologies has a validated range of wastewater Ultraviolet disinfection products for a varied range of flows and discharge conditions. From the small Trojan PTP range through to the range of robust Trojan UV3000+, and the flagship Trojan UV Signa all are available in multiple modules, banks and channels to suit your sites specific disinfection application.

As a recognised Trojan UV channel partner for 30 Years, Aquatec Maxcon provides local supply, integration, technical support, and lifecycle services tailored to site-specific operating conditions.
