As part of the BCAA Alliance, Aquatec Maxcon provided all civil, mechanical and electrical/control works for the complete upgrade of the Enoggera Water Treatment Plant, comprising the following main elements:
- Pre treatment chemical dosing systems for caustic soda, alum and polymer(coagulant aid)
- Dissolved air flotation (DAF) upgrade equipment including float skimmers, float spray bars, recycle pumping, air saturation and dispersion equipment
- Flow balance tank and filter feed pumps
- Pressure filtration equipment (self backwashing design) including automated control valving and monitoring instrumentation.
- Post treatment chemical dosing including post caustic soda and chlorination(disinfection).
- Treated water storage tank and pump station to Brisbane Water water mains.
- Wastewater handling system including wash water holding tank and transfer facilities.
- Electrical and control works complete.
